Results and Reports
The Office of Institutional Assessment has collected assessment-related data and reported to the university community since 1988 when OIA was a program in the Office of Institutional Planning and Research. In 1996, OIA began a series of brief research reports called "In Focus." Along with other, more comprehensive reports, the Office of Institutional Assessment continues to provide the university community with assessment information that is designed to be used by faculty, administrators, student life professionals and others dedicated to student learning.
The reports in this section include, among other things, annual survey reports available at the program-level, reports from national surveys in which Mason has participated, special analyses on topics of interest to the university community, and a special section on New Century College, the innovative and integrated curricular program begun in 1995. Hard copies of most reports are available upon request.
